So you have all been wondering about my dinner alone… Okay here it goes. I went to BJ’s pizza house, it is a nice little restaurant in Addison, TX. I have been there a couple of times with my work friends so I thought well I like the atmosphere so I will go there. It is about 7:30 or 8pm by the time I arrive, I sit down at my table and order my food (just a salad) I have been sitting for all of 5 minutes when this guy walks over and says “Are you traveling? I nicely explain no just trying to cross something off of a list of things I want to do before I am 30. He then proceeds to tell me that he is traveling from Houston and comes up to Dallas every other week. He also says he bets he can guess my profession, he guesses education I tell him he is wrong, it is actually retail management. He makes idle chatter for a few minutes until my food arrives, clearly not noticing how uncomfortable I am with this. He then decides to leave me alone so I can eat in peace, but before he leaves he asks me what I am doing after dinner, if I want to go to some bar down the road and have drinks. I say two things, first that I was meeting my boyfriend (which is a lie, since I don’t have one) and second I ask him aren’t you married. He answers yes but that doesn’t matter and I say it matters to me. So there you go that is my story….

The place is really quiet on Sundays and they have a guy who plays live music in the afternoon. But I survived, granted I know the chef and the entire staff seems to know who I am and they welcome me with open arms. Today the assistant chef made me mini pancakes with Berries infused with a vodka syrup. I don’t even like pancakes but these were yummy. So now I have two restaurants that I have been to by myself. I am growing up
